It’s great to be back!

Life has been better fer me…

1. Just got back from cgh appointment and the dr declare me stone-free! yeay* The surgery that day was horribly painful but i’m feeling all better.

2. My insurance has been running after the hold because of my condition (like finally!) so now i don’t have to worry much of the future. And i’m gettin back my $$ for the hospitalisation so yeay! much much relieve on that.

3. Work? I’ve resigned from kkh & my last day of work will be march 1st 2006. It’s a relieve knowing that i’ll be gone from that place. Gone for the better!

4. I’ve submitted my medical report to cgh human resource & they too kept me on hold til they got my med report. So now they’re passing me over to nursing admin for consideration. It’s kindda a risk that i’m taking right now because they can just reject me if they want to but i’ve emphasize how keen i was to work with cgh so let’s see how it turned out. If it’s all good, i can confirm my employment date & things worked out from there.

5. sold my black vespa thanx to da help of ma sis. She helped me out in all aspect for dat bike. 1.1k so thx & yea i owe her a commision. Will a treat be better babe? i fink i’ll give you a treat la.

6. i got a new bike for myself & i’m luving it! a blue sonic rs125 for $2.3k. Will keep posted when i haf da pict.

7. i passed my car tp! And it’s the best thing that adds up to the week.

This next movie is a well-recommended. It actually redefines the meaning of love. And not only the luvv story is amazin’ but so is the theme song. And it is sang in English so not to worry about not understanding the meaning of the sOng.

i’ll try to kip it short …

The movie is titled “Ngayong Nandito Ka”. It’s about Garie (Kristine Hermosa) & Rocky ROdriguez (Jericho Rosales) - they share a perfect romance and they played music in a band together. Happily in luv & brimming with dreams of a future together, they believe nothing can come between them. Their band was accepted to perform in Japan for 6 months and their contract extended for another 6months. But Rocky had no choice but to leave the band because his father suddenly got ill and was wheel-chair bound. Rocky’s fate traps into a dilemma. He is forced to sacrifice his luv for Garie, and their plans of pursuing their dreams in Japan.

Rocky’s family bizness ( furniture-making) is on the verge of bankruptcy (bcz his dad did sum illegal biz), and he is the only 1 who can save it by marrying the daughter of an influential congressman, Angela. Angela has always liked Rocky since the very beginning. Rocky’s father dislike Garie so much and prefers his son to be with Angela.

Garie (who heard the news from Rocky himself thru’ the phone from Japan) was heartbroken. She later finds redemption in the person of Derrick ( Onemig Bondoc), a successful Filipino entrepreneur who takes her under his wing. 2 yrs later, the former lovers meet each other again thru’ Derrick, who is now Garie’s fiance. Garie & Rocky have to work together fer the new hotel that Derrick is putting up in Baguio he will be Derrick’s furniture supplier; she will be his interior designer. As they are forced by the circumstances to be around each other, old wounds begin to hurt anew.

Garie later found out that Rocky didn’t get married to Angela. He was the runaway grOom. He was too drunk on the wedding day that he threw up on Angela’s wedding gown. His reason for doing so is because he is still much in love with Garie until that very day. Garie is stuck between 2 choices : Get married to someone who really cares fer her or marry the love of her life?

Btw Derrick & Garie met when she is working in a filipino store in japan. Derrick saw her crying and tried to make her laugh. But he failed. That’s how they initially got to know each other. And things got better fer them.

So who did Garie choose in the end?

She chose to be with Derrick. He was happy that Garie chose him over Rocky. But he sees sadness in Garie. Although she chose him, Rocky is still in her heart. Well not every man could do this i fink but this is what Derrick did. Derrick called Rocky to meet him in a restaurant to discussed abt work. When Rocky came down, he was shocked to see both Garie & Derrick there. Derrick came up to him & told him that although he was the one she chose, it’s still Rocky that is in her heart.

Derrick left.

The romance rekindled back again…..

I’m scheduled fer surgery tomorrow @ 1330hours and they called me up jz now & decide to push me forward to 1000hrs. That’s a good thing. The faster the better.

It’s called ESWL (Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy). Simply said it uses sound waves to break a kidney stone into small pieces that can more easily travel thru’ the urinary tract and pass from the body. And i would be under sedAtion only. Groggy groogeeyyy~~~~*

According to my readings, ESWL may work best fer stones in the kidneys, not in the ureter (like mine). It may be harder to break up a stone in the ureter although tiz is STILL possible. My biggest fear is actually they would push the stone back into the kidney and with a small instrument (ureteroscope) then use ESWL. I don’t know where the heck dat instrument would enter ME FROM, i fink itz best i pretend not to noe! It wld sure damn hurt!

Every procedure will sure have sum complications. Just hope i don’t get much of the PAIN cause by the passage of stone fragments, BLOCKED URINE FLOW as a result of stone fragments becoming stuck in the urine track & then they would have to use dat scary instrument again (ureteroscope) to remove the fragment. Urinary track infection (UTI) or bleeding ard the outside of the kidney.

Weird thing is i ain’t nervous or jittery ……

didn’t know i could cry wAtchin’ it…. but the best thing is that at the end of the movie, it makes me feel so much love inside and then i would showered it all to my bAbyy. And YES that’s even MUCH more better after that!

I muz make nif laze down and watch it again with me one day….. well, one of the days when he book out probably.

ONE of it is called “FOREVERMORE” by filipino Most Romantic Couple - Jericho Rosales & Kristine Hermosa ( He’s hot & she hotter!) . Aite in this story, both of them were grew up together in a simple village in the Corderp hacienda. Kristine playing ‘Marian’ has been in luv wit Anton (Jericho), the grandson of the hacienda’s patriarch. Marian has always believed that she & Anton would fulfill the legend of e haceinda. Accord. to Anton’s grandfather, the sweetness of the mangoes relies on the kind of luv tat a Cordero couple manning e hacienda share. Proof of this would be e mango orchard flourished with prosperity when Alejandro (grandfather)’s wife, Isabella was still alive.

Anton’s parent got separated. So he followed his father to Manila. As painful as it seems, Marian still held on to the belief that the love she and Anton share wld make the mango orchard flourish again. On the other hand, Anton finks tiz legend is bullshit and he’d rather stay with his father in Manila and be an engineer than take the reins @ the hacienda.

When Alejandro suffers frm a heart attack, Anton is forced to return to the hacienda. His several yrs of absence makes the village people excited and they prepared for his arrival. Marian (who is obsessed of watching her own vid of anton’s graduation over & over and drOol abt him) is of course super happy that he’s cuming back. Marian is now Alejandro’s Administrative assistant.

Anton believes he’s more of an engineer than a haciendero. SO he was challenged to take on the leadership @ the hacienda, e luv fer e land & its people grows on him. More so, he discovers e real Marian (that she’s deeply in luv with him since young & found out dat she’s been secretly watching hiz graduation vid she took herself) & he finds himself falling in love with her. In Marian’s heart, e legend is fulfilled. Until… Trisha( Anton’s gf in manila) arrives in e hacienda and proclaims e approval of Anton’s 250million peso project proposal.

Anton is torn between a dream ( to be a successful engineer a/w million $ approval) and a legend. Just when he chooses his love for Marian over his success as an engineer, Marian unselfishly lets him go to pursue his ambition. Legend or no legend, TRUE LUV finds a way to fulfill its own course.

… Anton did pursue and go ahead for his big project in Manila….. but he decide to give up his project to his working partner before asking him ” R u happy? “. His partner answered: “This is the happiest moment in my life, its what i’ve ever wanted”. Upon hearing that, Anton went back to e hacienda to suprise Marian. =) And yupp… it’s a happily ever after.

… The mango orchard flourished ( just like Alejandro & Isabella’s time ) . To me, it’s not about the mango … it’s more of the love they shared. Maybe mango is juz like a promo fer the filipinos bcz they r proud to have like the best mango there. And the luv realli makes me swept off my feet & smile. And yeaa cry haha*. Gembeng . haiz.

And yea there’s ONE MORE story which is even better!! “Ngayong Nandito Ka”. Tiz is a muZ c. I’ll be story-telling again tmr. Nyaha.

Here’s how my life has been messed up:

1. im resigning from KKH because i got a CGH offer - nearer to home and a place i could learn and improve.

2. CGH offered and now i found out i have a right ureteric stone. I had to go through all that tests and xrays and IVUs. CGH is still going through with me on my follow-ups.

3. And the doctor recommended me to go for ESWL to remove my stone - i have to go through day surgery on feb 7th and it cost me $710.

4. Im using KKH Medical card for my current medical bills to make my claims. Qn now would be KKH knowing that im quitting and transferring to CGH, i ain’t sure (and yes i have to find this out soon) wheather they would decline all the current med bills im using under KKH med benefits.

5. If the ans was decline, i have to fork out all those $ by myself. Because i would initially be under probation for 3mths in CGH - meaning no benefits yet wadsoever.

6. Being started in the working life and starting to get insurance P, this stone came about at just the “perfect” time and the insurance P now puts me on hold until im fully recovered.

Its sooo messed up. I’m at a point where i just don’t know where to start or how do you even start! Im taking it bit by bit if that’s the way life should go on. Going each day, day by day. Then i’ll be a happier chic soon.

And to top it all up, to bear with all this messed up life, i am selling my black 1985 FD px200 vespa. Yes it’s true. Anyone interested in buying pls holla.
